Shhhhhhhh, be vewy vewy quiet; I'm hunting wabbits, heheheheheheh. As part of my overall weight-loss efforts, I've been trying to do a little reading up on nutrition. My nutritional education is pretty dated, and I still remember the four food groups. The USDA revised their nutritional recommendations, switching to the food pyramid, and recommended that people eat 5 servings of fruits and vegetables per day.

Now the Harvard School of Public Health says that current guidelines recommend you consume between five and thirteen servings of fruit and vegetables.
That's a lot of rabbit food.
According to the Harvard site, if you consume 2,000 calories a day, you should aim for at least nine servings of fruit and vegetables per day. That works out to four and a half cups of rabbit chow.
I've already been told that I have funny-looking "bunny teeth." I used to get teased about it when I was a kid. If I manage to actually eat all the vegetables I'm supposed to, I imagine I'm going to sprout long ears and a tail.
I hope old Elmer Fudd isn't lurking around nearby.

I got here through the Tales From the Scales blog. I'm not a participant but rather found the link from another site.
I lost 86 lbs a few years ago and have kept it off nearly two years. It was the hardest thing I've ever done but it was also the best thing I've ever done.
You're doing a great job! Keep it up!
