It was a Baskin Robbins ice cream cake.
I knew we were going to have cake, and planned for it. I got up late, and had breakfast at noon. I kept breakfast small, just 185 calories, and left the house hungry. I resisted temptation and had a small piece of cake at the party. I left the party, still hungry.
But the cake was so worth it. If I don't stuff myself at dinner, I will still be under my daily calorie allotment.
Tomorrow, we are going to have strawberry shortcake.
